You have a definite assignment here on earth

God has an assignment for you on earth and even right now you can start to fulfill it.

When starting a business some people say “I don’t have money, that’s why I can’t start”. Yet this is not true because you can start a business right now having what you have already in and on you, focusing on the lack of though is a distraction. What they need is to have the right perspective. Likewise, to fulfill God’s assignment for your life does not require much more than what you already have on you because God did not bring you on earth for the immediate things that we tend to be preoccupied with every day. There is much more. We are not here to live for man but for the Lord God.

God has a house in the Kingdom, which He is building through our lives. And He needs mankind to do it. In 1 Chronicle 29, we see King David fulfill His assignment as the King towards building God a house. Note here that David was a King but in his calling as King, he had a specific assignment. God had specific things He set King David to accomplish on earth.

1 Chronicles 29:1-5 says, “Then King David said to the whole assembly: “My son Solomon, the one whom God has chosen, is young and inexperienced. The task is great, because this palatial structure is not for man but for the Lord God. With all my resources I have provided for the temple of my God—gold for the goldwork, silver for the silver, bronze for the bronze, iron for the iron and wood for the wood, as well as onyx for the settings, turquoise, stones of various colors, and all kinds of fine stone and marble—all of these in large quantities.

Besides, in my devotion to the temple of my God I now give my personal treasures of gold and silver for the temple of my God, over and above everything I have provided for this holy temple: three thousand talents of gold (gold of Ophir) and seven thousand talents of refined silver, for the overlaying of the walls of the buildings, for the gold work and the silverwork, and for all the work to be done by the craftsmen. Now, who is willing to consecrate themselves to the Lord today?”

David set affection to the house of God to such an extent that his wealth went to building the house of God. David gave of his wealth because that is what God had blessed him with. Some are wealthy but not using it for God’s specific assignment for their life. As for you and I God has blessed us with something today that we can begin to use for the building of God’s house. And this is why you should start thinking about your assignment on earth.

Colossian 2:3 says, Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. (NIV)

Think about it for a second. Do you really think God caused you to be born that you may live, and only to die without accomplishing much beyond where you are right now? Beyond the mundane lifestyle or the status quo?

If you are still struggling to believe in God or struggling to understand why you were born or have never thought about it. Its time to discover your assignment on earth. Because you were not only born to go to school, graduate and get work in the corporate company of your dreams, get married, make money, retire and die.

These are a consequence and blessing from God, as we accomplish our assignment on earth, but God’s assignment for you involves much more. You were born for something specific to the effect that it ultimately contributes to the salvation of mankind, the building of the house of God and the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Serve God now for the time is running out and this world will one day come to an end according to the biblical prophetic calendar. Even if it does not end before you die when the time comes and Jesus comes again, will you have accomplished the assignment He gave you? First, let your life on earth end as one who has received eternal life by believing in Jesus Christ.

Secondly, introduce others to the life in Jesus Christ you have experienced. Thirdly let His assignment for your life be fulfilled. And thereafter it is upon you to make sure you will have played your part to ensure God’s Kingdom is fully established and His second coming is fulfilled.

1 Chronicles 29:11 David went on to praise God saying, “Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head overall.”

There is another part in the word of God which explains how that God created everything unto Himself. Meaning that it was created for His own pleasure (will, purpose, fulfillment, assignment). He made you that He may enjoy seeing you fulfilling exactly what He birthed you for.

The word of God says, “Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there He put the man He had formed.” Genesis 2:8-9″ The LORD has made everything for his own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster.” Proverbs 16:4-5

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure, they are and were created.” Revelation 4:11

You were created to be in the Lord’s Garden (His Kingdom, His House). Don’t be counted among the wicked and end in disaster. Turn away from the wicked life.

Give glory, honour, splendor to God and live for His pleasure by fulfilling your assignment on earth.

Ask God what He wants you to do on earth. It is not always obvious until He has confirmed it to you and when He does, go on and fulfill your assignment on earth. You will be more fulfilled in life this way.

God Bless.
