The next morning as they passed by the fig tree he had cursed, the disciples noticed it had withered from the roots up. Peter remembered what Jesus had said to the tree on the previous day and exclaimed, “Look, Rabbi! The fig tree you cursed has withered and died!” Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. ‘ Mark 11:20-24 NLT
When Jesus cursed the fig tree, in the realm of the spirit it started to wither. Although the disciples with him didn’t see it in the natural, withering had begun to happen. Just because you have prayed and have not seen a manifestation in the natural, don’t think nothing has happened. But because you have released those words by faith, whatever you ask for and believe that you have received, you shall have. Go ahead and release the Word of God-for He promises that His Word shall not return unto Him without fulfilling that which He has assigned it to do. So, when you release His Word in prayer, it is DONE!
Where do we see this in the bible? Look at Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:9-18. She brought her grievances, pouring out her troubles to the Lord to the extent that the man of God thought she was drunk. Verse 18 says after she had prayed, she went away no longer sad and ate. Isn’t that powerful, although immediately she didn’t see results, a year later she had a child. God is working behind the scenes. Whatever you have been praying for will come to pass.
