See it the way God sees it

I know the plans that I have for you
There is a way in which God sees us through situations in our lives that sometimes require us to think at the God level, and not the Human level. When something bad happens to you or to someone you know, generally you want to know the reason why it happened the way it happened.
Yet I was meditating the other day about the way God operates and I realised that God does not operate at the reasoning level as we do sometimes.
People always want to find THE REASON why something happened the way it did. However, God on the other hand is multifaceted. He is not thinking at the level of why it happened the way it happened, but He is seeing the reason why it shouldn’t have happened because of what lies ahead. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. All-powerful, all-knowing, and all-seeing.
God sees and judges situations based on an eternal plan that He has for each and every one of us. It could be in your career, marriage, business, family, country, or even the world at large. Everything that happens in our lives, does not happen for one reason or the other, it happens for many reasons that fit together into God’s eternal plan for mankind.
Maybe you were aiming to get married at a certain age or time or to a certain person and it never happened. It wasn’t because God did not want you to marry that person, it wasn’t because you were not good enough for them either. Oh! it was because God had a better plan, and if you married that person, you would not have enjoyed the better plan.
From the scriptures, in the bible, we see that God uses a multifaceted approach. The bible talks about the manifold wisdom of God, which He wanted all of us to have about Jesus Christ purpose His eternal plan for mankind.
“So that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 3:10
From the scriptures, in the bible, we see that God uses a multifaceted approach. The bible talks about the manifold wisdom of God. And when I think of a manifold, the first I think of is a component from a vehicle engine that has many inlets and outlets that lead to one exhaust pipe that blows fumes out of one main pipe.
Sometimes it’s hard to see the good out of certain situations such as poverty, rape, abuse, injustice, pandemics, disasters, accidents, loss, and any other difficulties you can face in life again. That business deal could have gone awry and you may have ended up in jail because there were corrupt parties involved that you did not see when it was proposed to you.
God’s plan for your life is the same, it has many inlets and outlets. Experiences, places, events, people, that all lead to one eternal purpose for your life. So when that thing that happened to you, happened the way it did. Don’t wail or complain. Don’t try to make one reason for it. Think about the way God sees things. It happened because it was an inlet or an outlet that would direct your life, on the right path to His eternal plan for you. Just knowing that alone, is enough to help you trust in God and His plan for you.
I am reminded of the scripture that says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 KJV
So it’s not just one thing, it’s all things. It’s not just one reason, it’s all reasons you can come up with. When good things happen, they also are inlets and outlets to that eternal purpose for your life.
God is multifaceted. In His infinite wisdom, He saw it fit for you to have certain specific experiences, that you would never forget so that you would eventually praise Him when you reach a particular destination, which you were supposed to be at, according to His plan. And when you look back, you will see that it was all part of the plan.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
The next time you are going through something or you have made progress, don’t forget that God’s plan prevails over anything you could ever reason something out to be. His word explicitly reveals it to us.
Its says,
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV
Sometimes it’s hard to see the good out of certain situations such as poverty, rape, abuse, injustice, pandemics, disasters, accidents, loss, and any other difficulties you can face in life.
However, God can use hurts, seeming disadvantages, promotions, opportunities, decisions we make to steer us in the direction of His purpose for our lives. That is why it is important to praise Him no matter what happens.
The more you do, the more you will see His plan unfolding before you, and the more you will course through life, enjoying His peace, unsearchable riches and love like never before, enjoying life knowing that good things are all He has planned for you.
God bless
