Praying God’s will brings answers to prayers

‘And if we know [for a fact, as indeed we do] that He hears and listens to us in whatever we ask, we [also] know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted to us] the requests which we have asked from Him. This is the [remarkable degree of] confidence which we [as believers are entitled to] have before Him: that if we ask anything according to His will, [that is, consistent with His plan and purpose] He hears us. ‘ 1 John 5:14-15 AMP

How wonderful it is for the believer. To have such an entitlement that whatever we ask from God according to His will, He hears us and answers prayers. The bible tells us that His will is good, pleasing, and perfect. Make it your mission to know God’s will for your life concerning every area in your life.

It is God’s will for you to prosper

‘The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.’ Proverbs 10:22 NLT

Right from the foundation of the earth, when God made man, His intention and will, was to make us prosper to His glory. When He blessed the human race to be fruitful and multiply, He made a covenant, not a promise.

It is God’s will for you to be in good health

‘He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds, you are healed.’ 1 Peter 2:24 NLT

One of the benefits of redemption was the restoration of health. When He walked the earth, He was passionate about getting people healed from diverse diseases and delivered from demonic oppression. This is because the template of a body housing a spirit here on earth is exemplified by the body of Jesus Christ, free of sickness or disease. God’s will is for you to walk in divine health.

It is God’s will for you to have peace

‘You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!’ Isaiah 26:3 NLT

God desires for you and me to experience His peace that surpasses all understanding. He wants our relationships to be full of joy and peace. He wants us to live a life that is fulfilling and abundant.

It is God’s will for you to be happy

‘Never stop praying. Always be joyful. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.’ 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NLT

There is that ‘will’ word again. God demands us to be joyful in all circumstances, no matter how things may look. He is not putting you and me in a corner here. When He commands it, it means with the help of the Holy Spirit, it is possible. Ask God for the grace to endure through the circumstances that you are facing today. Ask Him to reveal what His will is for that particular circumstance. Trust me, when you go to God in all honesty and transparency, He will answer you.
